Who we are
At the TŌSH Moravian family distillery, we are carrying on the tradition of the oldest whisky producer in the former Czechoslovakia. In the village of Těšetice outside Olomouc, in the very heart of the fertile Haná region, at a site where the distilling craft has flourished since 1582. We are honoured and humbled to be the heirs to this long tradition.
We are renewing King Barley, the oldest and longest produced Czechoslovak malt whisky. This year we expanded our portfolio with a new brand – light and fruity Lafayette malt whisky.
In addition to our flagship TŌSH Gin, we also distill new custom gins for our customers. Once a year we release TŌSH Gina – our barrel gin that is always aged in a different oak cask.
We are carrying on the production of JAKAMARUS herbal liqueur, which we make make according to the original Prague recipe of pharmacist Alois Kříž from the year 1932.

Try an original classic – Moravian Dry Gin, produced in small batches in a historic kettle for distilling whisky.
Archived documents indicate that gin was already being produced in Těšetice under the name GIN TON in 1979. We are building on this legacy with a modern recipe for gin for mixing a distinctive gin and tonic.
Discover its complex, strong and balanced flavour with an emphasis on rich citrus and juniper tones, with a long finish featuring Czech poppyseed, Moravian sweet rowanberry and rosehips.
TŌSH Gin is a local craft gin that is delicious neat and transforms any cocktail into a sublime experience.

TŌSH GIN
Black Stuff Bar private edition
Single shot gin, distilled in historic kettles for the production of whisky. It has a complex and balanced flavour with refreshing tones of black currant and juniper. Excellent for sipping from tasting glasses, on a cube of ice to release more delicate flavours, or in cocktails.

TŌSH GINA 2021
barelled gin
We love gin, and as a whisky distillery, we enjoy the variety of barrel flavours. This cask from American white oak has already been used several times to age French Cabernet Sauvignon. While it aged in the barrel for nearly a year, Gina took on distinctive fruit tones.

TŌSH GINA 2020
barelled gin
Our first batch of barrel-aged gin. Made in California, this cask was used to age Spanish Tempranillo wine. Our Gina aged in the cask for nearly a year, acquiring its orangish-pink colour and refreshing fruity aroma and flavour.

King Barley Whisky
since 1973
Both whiskies were distilled from smoked wort and then aged in reconditioned and newly charred oak barrels.
The Marsala finish has a smoky wood and chocolate aroma and a fruity, sweet and woody flavour. The virgin oak finish has tones of honey. The aroma features smoky honeycomb, the flavour has tones of sweet honey vanilla and spicy wood.
SLOE GIN
infused gin
Sloe gin is made by macerating fresh sloe berries in TŌSH Gin. It is not a liqueur – we haven’t added a gram of sugar. The result is a unique alternative for a colourful and distinctly flavoured gin and tonic or a singular Negroni.

JA-KA-MA-RUS
herbal liqueur
JA-KA-MA-RUS herbal liqueur has been produced since 1916 using pharmacist Alois Kříž’s original recipe. Long aging in oak barrels produces a bitter and spicy flavour from a more than 50% extract of herbs and spices from all over the world. It is an ideal digestive after every meal.
